We invite you to discover our conservation programs.

The Fundación Buin Zoo is a private non-profit organization, created under the protection of the Bioparque Buinzoo. Its objective is to promote and develop actions aimed at contributing to the protection of threatened species and to generate scientific knowledge that favors the conservation of biodiversity and the health of ecosystems.
Through its conservation programs, the Foundation has invested more than 1.5 billion pesos in initiatives for the protection and recovery of Darwin's fox, pudú, huemul, puma, guiña and the animal welfare of wild species under human care. Thanks to these efforts, information and protection of these species have increased from the Nahuelbuta mountain range, in the Biobío region, to Riesco Island, in the Magallanes region, including important conservation actions in ten national parks.
In addition, training programs for conservation and animal welfare have trained more than 2,500 students and professionals in management for the conservation of wild species, with the collaboration of first-rate international professionals. These conservation efforts in natural environments are possible thanks to the commitment of Bioparque Buinzoo, ensuring that future generations of Chileans and Chileans can learn about and enjoy their native wildlife.
Let's help maintain that commitment by supporting the conservation work of the. Fundación Buin Zoo
